Dr. Raquel Muller Named 2024 Tigard Chamber Volunteer of the Year

Dr. Raquel Muller a financial educator and coach with WealthWave, has been named the 2024 Tigard Chamber Volunteer of the Year.

This award honors a Tigard Chamber Member who has volunteered many hours of time, talent and energy to the success and growth of the Tigard Chamber. This person must be an active and involved Member of the Chamber who has sustained their efforts on behalf of the Tigard Chamber over a long period of time. Through their efforts, they have made our organization more effective in serving the Tigard Community at large.

Dr. Raquel Muller is a shining example of this! Dr. Raquel has been the Chair of our Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee this past year, assisting us with our goal to be more representative of the Tigard Community. Through these efforts she has developed relationships with other organizations already doing this work, has hosted our first Tigard DEI Celebration, and has grown the DEI Committee to have members from nearly ever sector of business in Tigard. During this same time frame she also joined the Tigard Chamber Ambassador Team too where she has been a beacon of light on those early rainy mornings.

CEO Megan De Salvo had this to say about Tanya “Whenever you are around Dr. Raquel her positivity and leadership light up the room. She cares deeply about our Community.”

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Raquel on this well-deserved award. This award will be formally presented with other Tigard Volunteer and Business Awards at the 50th Annual Tigard Shining Stars Community Awards Celebration Presented by Center Street Gold & Silver. It will be held on Friday, May 10th from 5:30pm – 10pm at the Embassy Suites Washington Square. Join us in celebrating the people and businesses that make Tigard a great place to work, play and live.
