Our After Hours networking events bookended August, giving us two great opportunities to connect and build relationships. The first one was hosted by The Roastery by Ava’s and the second was hosted by Top Shelf Shoe Repair. These events are perfect for professionals looking to connect with like-minded individuals at fun local spaces in the evening. Join us at the next After Hours at Fogo de Chao on September 22nd!
August brought another great lineup of weekly Good Morning Tigard (GMT) networking events, creating opportunities for local business professionals to connect, build relationships, and start their mornings in a welcoming and engaging environment. We are grateful to our Chamber member hosts, including Bridgeport Village, Acumen Executive Search and Minuteman Press, for helping make these gatherings such a success. A special congratulations goes out to Studio B Photography who celebrated their 30th Anniversary at their GMT this month, along with a ribbon cutting to mark the occasion!
Our Tigard Young Professionals hosted a mixer at Tap and Table and there were lots of new faces in the room! Mark your calendar for September 16th and join the Young Professionals at Symposium Coffee for Coffee Chat & Connect! This casual morning gathering is all about making connections, exchanging ideas, and building relationships with fellow young professionals in our community. Whether you’re new to the area, advancing your career, launching a business, or simply looking to expand your circle, this is a great opportunity to meet like-minded professionals in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Earlier this year, we launched two new Affinity Groups – Health & Wellness and All Things Home – and we are excited to see both continue to gain momentum each month. With new members joining the conversations and Chamber businesses generously hosting meetings, these groups have become valuable spaces to connect with peers, share industry insights, and build meaningful professional relationships. If your business aligns with either group, we encourage you to join us for one of our September meetings. We would love to welcome you into the conversation!
Wondering how to maximize your Chamber membership? Our Membership Engagement Coordinator Ainsley hosts a Member Orientation every month to help educate new and existing members on how to increase their reach, increase community engagement, increase business knowledge, and how to expand legislative involvement. The Tigard Farmers Market continues to operate each Sunday in Universal Plaza in Downtown Tigard from 9:00am to 1:30pm. Fall is in the air at the market – sip a warm coffee, fill your bag with seasonal produce, and explore the unique finds from our incredible local vendors.
