Tigard Chamber 2011-2012 Strategic Objectives
Each year, we develop a set of strategic objectives that drive the business of the chamber forward. Goals are developed underlying each of these objectives to create a set of deliverables. These deliverables are accomplished through the efforts of staff, the chamber Board, chamber committees and chamber Ambassadors. Take a read through what we’ve got on our plate this year. I think you will find it adds value for you as a chamber member, strengthens the local business community and creates stronger community relationships. Membership (Create Value) Hold membership retention to 80% or better Drive membership joins to 8/month Create strong, effective chamber PR/Marketing committee to assist CEO in identifying monitoring chamber marketing/membership/PR goals Develop vision, plan and strategy for Leadership Tigard in 2012-13 Strong Local Economy Plan and hold a Business Showcase with Tualatin Chamber in early fall Plan and launch a Shop Local Program Community Develop vision /key objectives and deliverables for Visitor Center Create a shared strategic vision with Tigard Farmers Market Local & Government Advocacy Begin development of necessary relationships to forge stronger collaborative relationship with City of Tigard, focused on shared vision for downtown and other economic development Technology Develop and implement plan to transition web to WordPress Diversify Revenue Develop plan, invest and market Pearson room rental opportunity to drive increased to achieve $24k annually by 2013 Identify and explore other possible grant funding for chamber/visitor center Fundraising subcommittee, develop budget targets, plan and execute their 4 planned activities Contact Debi Mollahan at email@example.com or 503-639-1656.
