Build Business and Community Relationships
Good Morning Tigard
Weekly | Thursdays | 7:30 – 9:00 am | In-Person & Virtually
Good Morning Tigard is a great chance to connect with other local professionals. During the meeting, you will hear from our hosting business, the chamber and other members. You will also get a chance to introduce yourself with your name, business name and tagline, and might even win some prizes from our drawings.
9 Month Program | Second Tuesday of the Month | 8 am – 5 pm
Leadership Tigard is an annual nine-month program investing in leadership qualities and community awareness. The goal is to inspire rising leaders to participate in their community in an active way. The program is designed to put our participants in contact with numerous local leaders; to build an increasing awareness of the functioning of our community, and instill a heightened personal commitment to become involved in their community at a variety of levels.
One of the Tigard Chamber’s focus areas is creating, sustaining and retaining a viable workforce. Through workforce development, we are able to create social and economic prosperity. We are focused on the tie in between education and workforce. We do this through partnership with the Tigard – Tualatin School District and the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce, our high school senior scholarship program distributed at Shining Stars, and professional development training for chamber members.
High School Senior Scholarship Program
Annually, the Tigard Chamber awards scholarships to high school seniors to apply to college costs. These scholarships are available for students that will be attending a 4-year University, 2-year Community College and those pursuing vocational and technical training opportunities in a variety of fields. Currently we award between 4-6 $1,000 scholarships each year based on the generous contributions of Pride Disposal, Tigard Chamber members and other sponsoring businesses.
